Itinerary

Day 1: London - Windsor Castle
Your helicopter will take you along the route of the River Thames into LONDON, passing over Kew Gardens on the way. You see the royal Parks and Palaces, The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral and Canary Wharf in the Docklands area of the City. Following this you travel to WINDSOR CASTLE, the largest inhabited castle in the world where you see the magnificent State Apartments and the tomb of Henry VIII. You spend the evening in the sumptuous surroundings of Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons in the Oxfordshire countryside.

Day 2: Oxford - Bath - Roman Baths
You fly over OXFORD, the “city of dreaming spires” and the picturesque villages of the Cotswolds to the elegant city of BATH. Here you have a private tour of this iconic Georgian city and The ROMAN BATHS. The Romans transformed the city into England’s first spa and was developed extensively in the 18th Century by John Wood, who created the Palladian style buildings. You stay overnight in the Royal Crescent Hotel located in the most magnificent location with fine views over the city.

Travelling up the west coast of England and across the beautiful WELSH BORDERS, you see the Brecon Beacons, rural Herefordshire and Shropshire, passing by Liverpool, the home of the Beatles, to arrive in the LAKE DISTRICT. You take a cruise on ULLSWATER, one of the largest lakes and visit the village of Grasmere and Dove Cottage, home of William Wordsworth, one of our greatest poets. Your hotel is at Sharrow Bay, overlooking Ullswater Lake.

Day 4: Yorkshire - Cambridge
The final day begins with a flight over the YORKSHIRE DALES with its isolated farmsteads to the City of York and the East Coast, which you follow to CAMBRIDGE. The city sits on the River Cam, with the world famous colleges serenely set on the river’s edge. You have a walking tour introducing the history and main attractions including Kings College Chapel which was built by Henry VI and is probably the finest of its type in England.
