Today, this applies to an even greater extent as the influx of peoples from throughout the globe provides an astonishing cosmopolitan atmosphere. London provides a staggering cocktail of royalty, dignity and culture.
Profile
We start with a full day in the oldest part of London discovering The Tower, the Roman streets and St Paul's Cathedral before we spend the rest of our time exploring Westminster and Royal London. There is plenty of flexibility to visit places you would like to see, go shopping, see a show and take excursions out of the city.

Itinerary

Day 1: Tower - Tower Bridge - City - St Paul's
The TOWER OF LONDON was begun by William the Conquer as a symbol of his power over the people of England. Over the centuries, buildings have been added to form today’s large complex of buildings. You will see the Crown Jewels and meet the Beefeaters. Nearby is the iconic TOWER BRIDGE over the River Thames. Both these attractions are on the edge of the CITY, London’s trading centre since the Roman times. Passing through the small streets, stopping at significant sites, we will arrive at ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL. Designed by Sir Christopher Wren, the cathedral became a symbol of defiance in WWII.

Day 2: Westminster - Galleries - London Eye
WESTMINSTER ABBEY has been the resting place of English monarchs for over 1000 years. It is a glorious example of medieval gothic architecture. Just across the road from the Abbey is the seat of the Houses of Parliament and, the tower of BIG BEN. A short walk away is BUCKINGHAM PALACE and the CHANGING OF THE GUARD. Strolling through ST JAMES'S PARK to TRAFALGAR SQUARE and onto the NATIONAL GALLERY, home to many world famous paintings including Van Gogh’s Sunflowers and Constable’s Haywain. Lastly today, we return to the south bank for a flight on the LONDON EYE.

Day 3: British Museum - Kensington - Harrods
The oldest public museum in the world is the BRITISH MUSEUM. Here there are 94 galleries spanning 2 million years of World history and culture. Crossing HYDE PARK to see the golden shine of the Albert Memorial our next stop is KENSINGTON PALACE former home of Diana, Princess of Wales. The state rooms are finely decorated and there is an exhibition on the etiquette of the court and royal clothing. In the afternoon, you will have the chance to go shopping at HARRODS, London’s premier department store or visit museums of Victoria and Albert, The Natural History and the Science Museum.

Day 4: Windsor - Greenwich
On your last day, you will be able to choose from a selection of out of town tours.
- WINDSOR / HAMPTON COURT. Windsor Castle is the largest inhabited castle in the world and is still one of Queen Elizabeth II homes. Hampton Court is set on the River Thames the palace bears traces of monarchs from the Tudors to the present day. The maze always provides interest and amusement.
- GREENWICH, TIME LINE AND MARITIME MUSEUMS - Centre of World time keeping, dominating Greenwich for over 300 years is the Royal Observatory and outstanding museums and art.

Extensions and Other Options
In the summer months BUCKINGHAM PALACE STATE ROOMS, the HOUSES OF PARLIAMENT are many other Royal houses are open to the public. These can be included and added.
Other choices could include visiting the THEATRE, MARKETS, HELICOPTER FLIGHTS, FINE DINING and BOAT TRIPS.
